Our company

Lybero.net , start-up French Tech East

Who are we?

Lybero.net is a young french public research company in computer science (Inria Centre in Nancy – Grand Est).

Our goal is to make the best of science and technology from computer security research available to all organizations.

The news of digital breaches shows us the growing impact of IT insecurity for organizations: destabilized states, sacked executives, companies in difficulty, etc. Traditional ways of protecting digital information have failed, and new solutions must be moved.

Our first products aim to make it easier to deploy encryption in organizations : encrypted file-sharing software, collaborative receiver software for digital secrets for an organization. and SDK to protect all web applications by native data encryption.

We offer cryptography-based data access control solutions while making it easier for end-users to use, managing for organization and controlling for system administrators.

Respect the regulations with ease!
We allow companies to approach the management of their data calmly and comply with the RGPD.

Thanks to cryptography and the collection receiver we can guarantee: compliance with the principles of privacy and security by design imposed by the RGPD.

The highest level of security and security ease of use, deployment, management and control are our commitments.

The management team

Bertrand Wallrich

Scientific Director (CTO)

Bertrand Wallrich, one of the creators of Lybero.net was in charge of Computer Systems Security at Inria, then technical director of the Loria High Security Laboratory in Nancy. As an RSSI, he faced the challenge of ensuring a good level of security for an audience of researchers accustomed to a very wide openness of information.

Once at the High Security Laboratory, he was able to work on some of the tools he would have needed on a daily basis. The proximity with teams of elite researchers has allowed him to work on solutions using state-of-the-art research on cryptography, protocol security, etc. Lybero.net was born out of the desire to share these innovations with as many people as possible.

Arnaud Laprévotte

President (CEO)

An engineer at ENSMM and ENSERG, he worked at the beginning of his career at the University of Darmstadt, then in the research centres of TéléDiffusion de France, then Thomson Multimedia. In 1996, he created Free and ALter Soft (the first free software service company created in France) which became Linbox FAS in 2001 (publisher of open source infrastructure software).

Linbox FAS was acquired by Mandriva in 2007. He then took over the management of all Mandriva research projects for 3 years. He directed Mandriva between March 2010 and June 2011. He then left Mandriva for Kalis and then Oxalya (later bought by OVH). He joined Inria in 2014 as Head of Partnerships and Intellectual Property in Nancy.
